We try really hard to always remain positive.  We try hard to give people the benefit of the doubt, and to not point fingers and constantly play the blame game.

But there are times when there is simply no option but to call people out:  The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 that congressional Republicans passed — and Donald Trump signed, on December 22, 2017 — is outrageous in its irresponsibility.

To be clear, we are not against tax cuts as a rule.  There is a time and place when they are absolutely appropriate.  But this particular tax cut is one of the largest financial heists in U.S. history — the crazies have officially taken over the asylum and they have your checkbook.

 

Once again, a Republican-led Congress passed a tax bill that ensures the wealthiest Americans and already flush corporations win.  Bigly.
